Zormiwasa Drum Courses

Elliott Orr, founder and director of Talkin’ the Drum, runs weekly African drumming classes in Byron Bay, Northern NSW and in West End, Brisbane.

Over many years he has created a wonderful community of people from all walks of life, united in their passion for rhythm.

Elliott’s body of students is affectionately named ‘Zormiwasa’. Translated from the Hausa language of West Africa:

“Come play music!”
